Ltd would like to inform owners of Lexus (LX600) of Customer Satisfaction Campaign on their vehicles to reprogram Engine Control Computer due to the possibility that the knocking control in Engine Control Computer may not work properly when low octane rate gasoline is used due to inappropriate program. If this the vehicle is driven continuously under this condition, a spark plug and/or other component part in combustion chamber may be melted, resulting in abnormal vibration and/or illuminates malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) due to engine misfire.
